My history: I went to art school, became a Graphic Designer, met my husband in Chicago, IL. Had my daughter, stopped working for a company, and started working as a full time mom. Moved to NH, had my son. Missed being creative, so started painting, making jewelry, and all different kinds of crafts. This filled my bucket for the time being, with still young kids I was busy. Fast forward to 2017, moved to Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas. Became a substitute teacher, then a PE aide, then came 2020. We were all stuck at home cause you know—Covid. I decided to pull out my old sew machine and relearn how to sew. and sew. and sew. Then I started loving some fabric companies. Then I started buying more fabric, so I started making bags to sustain my fabric addiction. I basically make bags so I can keep buying fabric. I’m still substituting, but work on making pieces in my spare time.
